🎮 Gameplay Mechanics
🔶 I didn’t realize this game would only have two levels until I loaded it up, but here we are. Hidden Cats: Thief delivers exactly what its title promises- adorable cats hidden throughout what looks like a hand-drawn landscape. The art is charming, filled with objects and tiny cats that blend seamlessly into the environment.
🔷 The gameplay? Simple: find a cat, click on it, and earn an achievement. That’s the entire experience, wrapped up in about 20 minutes. The only reason it even takes that long is because the landscape is massive, and tracking down the last 5-6 cats can be surprisingly tricky. If you’re aiming for 100% achievements, just start spamming clicks everywhere- some objects can also unlock achievements. With two levels and the achievements split between them, there’s not much replayability here. It’s a short, sweet, and mildly frustrating hunt for cats.
📷 Visuals
🔶 It’s essentially just a hand-drawn portrait, and the cats blend so well with the environment that it took me a while to find the last few. Once you spot a cat, it gets highlighted in color, and that’s pretty much the entire gameplay. It’s a straightforward concept, and while charming in its simplicity, there’s not much more to it.
📝Main Pros and Cons

😇 Honest Rating
🔷 If you’re someone who enjoys collecting Steam achievements, this game can definitely be a quick +1 to your collection. However, if you’re genuinely looking for a robust hidden-object game, this isn’t the one for you. Let’s be real- nobody wants to spend a dollar for just 15 minutes of finding cats! It’s cute, but it’s over before you even settle in.

I don’t know why I expected this to be a real game. I guess I should check store pages properly!
