Lilith Rising - Season 1 (LR - S1) is a NSFW visual novel game that tells the sexy adventures of a man corrupted by lust in a fantasy medieval world… And that is it, there are more sub plots about political drama and fighting the forces of evil but I will elaborate about this in the story section of this review. Be aware that this game’s targeted audience is straight males.

What is it exactly that you do in the game?
Like in most NSFW visual novels you click on stuff, read dialogue, make decisions over random choices that can sometimes pop-out on the screen and chat with NPCs in order to progress the story… and you obviously watch NSFW short videos and slideshows.
Will it make my eyes bleed?
As for NSFW VN games on Steam, it’s average. The models look decent and they don’t have uncanny faces. The backgrounds are simple and sometimes a little bit ugly but overall, they aren’t terrible. The NSFW scenes are short but well animated and with decent jiggle and fluid physics.
Does it have a good story?
If you ever watched a NSFW movie about “the sexy adventures of a charmless dude in a fantasy medieval setting” then you will be able to predict 90% of the plot of this game. Is not bad, just very formulaic for my taste. I liked how the game changes just enough if you choose to take the “evil path” for your decisions, but it is nothing too impressive. I would like to note that the game lacks a satisfying ending, I think it’s going to resolve all the plot threats that were left unanswered in the season 2, so keep that in mind. Overall, the story of LR-S1 is fine, not great or bad, just fine.
Does it have a good soundtrack?
It has the type of music that is relaxing enough to forget that it is there but generic enough to annoy you during long playing sessions, Is not terrible but also not great.
Does it have replay value?
If you are an achievement hunter or if you like to check what outcomes you can get if you pick different choices in a second playthrough.
Does it run well?
It runs flawlessly. There is not much else to say. It’s a game that is not very demanding and I didn’t have any problems with it.
Is it fun?
It’s fun enough. In the 4 hours that it took me to complete the game I enjoyed my time enough with it.
Is this game worth my hard earned money?
During your review I think you may have picked up on a “theme” with my feelings about this game: it’s fine, just fine. I think that paying $15 for LR-S1 is a bit stiff. This game is polished and has just enough content to be worth playing… at a $10 price tag. I just feel that you can play much better NSFW games for $15 on steam with more impressive features and way more interesting story.
